Yoshimura SERT Motul presents its 2026 FIM Endurance World Championship team

Yoshimura SERT Motul demonstrated strong competitiveness and consistent performance throughout the 2025 FIM Endurance World Championship season.
From Le Mans to the Bol d’Or, the team fought relentlessly in all conditions, collecting victories and podium finishes while remaining at the heart of the title battle.

In the end, however, the championship slipped away by just a single point.
That narrow margin represents both deep frustration and powerful motivation, clearly defining the challenge ahead.

Carrying that determination forward, the team has already begun preparations for the next campaign.
In 2026, Yoshimura SERT Motul will pursue an even higher level of perfection and aim once again for the top of the world.

Yohei Kato, Team Director

The one-point gap in 2025 reminded us that there is still something missing.
In 2026, we will dedicate everything we have to closing that “one point.”
There will be no changes to the rider line-up, because we truly believe they are the best in the world.

And then there is the Suzuka 8 Hours.
We have set ourselves a very high target: to achieve a debut victory with the new GSX-R1000R.
With the Yoshimura spirit, the experience of SERT, and the support of our fans, we believe it can be done.

Let’s fight together in 2026.

Damien Saulnier, Team Manager

As far as the season is concerned, we’re all working hard to prepare for the first tests in March.
Then, at the beginning of April, we’ll be testing at Le Mans with the 24h Motos in April.
Over the winter we’ve been working on the organisation, setting up the box and loading the trucks.
We really wanted to make progress in this area.
We’ve also been working on the pit-stops, and the idea is to be even better at organising them.
We’re looking forward to seeing you all again and getting the season underway.

Gregg Black – rider

I’m looking forward to getting back on the bike and being with the team. We all know each other so well now, it’s like being part of a big family.

We were strong performance-wise last year and intend to continue in that direction. The new suspension worked really well during Suzuka and then the Bol d’Or. It made a big difference and helped to get some good results out of the front forks. Having the ZF engineers with us permanently was a bonus as it helped with feedback and we were able to work together faster.

I’m always highly motivated to win the maximum number of races possible and get on the podium at each race. We won the Championship in 2024, and lost it by the smallest of margins in 2025. I feel really fit, and it’s time to get the #1 plate back on the team’s Suzuki.

Etienne Masson – rider

Obviously, I hope 2026 will be better than 2025. I was frustrated after Bol d’Or because we lost the championship by just one point.

I’m super excited to start this new season with the same line-up and the same bike. We all witnessed the high performance of the Suzuki at Bol d’Or, and the team can make more adjustments to make our bike even better, especially with the new ZF suspension collaboration.

“I’m confident and excited to start the job at Valencia in March.

Dan Linfoot – rider

Here we go again with the #12 plate. Our clear aim and targets are to get the #1 back. Our goal is clear, we’ve done it before, and need to do it again. We understand what to work on, and where we can improve.

I want this month to hurry up, get back on the bike and be with the team again. We have testing at Valencia next month and then it is pretty much non-stop until after Suzuka.

I’m looking forward to getting back into the rhythm of testing/racing/back home, then off again. It keeps me on my toes …. I just love having the excitement of the racing to look forward to.

Cocoro Atsumi – rider

Our goal this season is, of course, to win the championship as a team. Last year, we struggled a lot in the rain and other difficult conditions, but we saw some positive results during our winter testing in the rain.
We’d like to further refine that and be able to race well in bad weather, since that’s something that happens often in endurance racing.

I also want to win the Suzuka 8 Hours.
We’ve placed third for two years in a row, so I think this year is the time to aim even higher.

Of course, our rivals will be strong this year, but I’ll prepare well and work hard with the team. I’ll do my best to fulfil my role as reserve and development rider again this year.
