Toward the Next Generation — Celebrating Yoshimura’s 70th Anniversary
In 2024, Yoshimura marks its 70th anniversary, a significant milestone in our history. When we celebrated our 60th anniversary, we’ve spoke about our vision for the next decade. That decade brought tremendous changes in the world of mobility as the shift from internal combustion engines to electric motors is now the focus in each country. However, we believe this transition is not followed by the real world. Enthusiasts and people involved in the industry around the world still find immense value and passion in internal combustion engines—and Yoshimura proudly stands with them.
・The Yoshimura Spirit (Ideology) Remains Unchanged
With over 70 years of experience and achievements, we carry forward the knowledge and wisdom we’ve cultivated over the past 70 years and share it with the world.
Persistence is Power!, “I’ve Got The Power”
・Pursuing Further Brand Excellence and Creativity
An unwavering commitment to racing and creating products derived from racing for users to find truly exciting and fun.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the world has experienced a dramatic shift in values—and the world of mobility, both two-wheel and four-wheel are no exception. We believe that today users are shifting to a new mindset choosing their mobility, “Something unique and reflecting their individuality” and valuing it for long term. This “new value trend” is evolving here in Japan, and we believe it has the potential to become the very foundation of our new motorsport culture. Furthermore, these emerging values align with the global SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), and with Japan’s long-standing cultural ethos of respecting resources, craftsmanship, and diversity.
Motorsport and mobility culture have diverse range of enthusiasts around the world. There is a deep appreciation for the visceral sensations that come from powered mobility, especially motorcycle and car engines which bring sound, vibration, and speed. These essences resonate directly with our human senses and possess an undeniable value.
Many manufacturers have already declared their commitment to keeping internal combustion engines alive, especially in large displacement motorcycles.
Of course, the fuel may evolve into hydrogen, biofuels, synthetic fuels, and beyond but this clearly reflects how manufacturers are responding to the refined preferences of their users.
As Yoshimura marks its 70th anniversary, just a milestone along our ongoing journey we remain deeply committed to preserving this emotional connection to mobility. We aim to continue delivering exciting, enjoyable craftsmanship and engaging communication, so that both new and existing users can say: “This is fun. This is exciting.”
